Romans 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. While reading this at 7:00 this morning the last thing I wanted to do was “awake out of sleep”. But it is important for us to awake, for so long we have had an apathetic heart toward the lost man and his condition, and furthermore an apathetic attitude for our service to the Lord and fellowship with Him. Let’s wake up, because our “salvation is nearer than then we believed”. We are getting closer and closer to the Lords return. I am resolved to do what I can while I can!

Soul Winning Saturday’s are back! As we get back to our fall schedule I hope you will join us this Saturday for a good time of door knocking! When we go out we go to 1) Enlist others into God’s army! There are people who live on your street that have never heard a clear presentation of the gospel! 2) Encourage the downhearted! We pray that God will lead us to the door of someone who wants to see that they aren’t the only one telling others about our Lord Jesus. 3) Equip our people! By this we hope that as we go we hope to give our members the oppurtunity to exersise their testimony! So that when and if they leave our church they will be able to do the same wherever the Lord may take them. See ya Saturday!

Starting in September we will revert back to our Fall Schedule. It is as follows: 6:00 Church-wide Fellowship Supper, 6:45 Awana and Youth Services, and Our weekly Adult Prayer Meeting/ Bible Study @ 7:00. Please make this note on you calendars, See you there!

Our Revival meetings are over but God is not through with us. We have seen Him move and work in an amazing way! As we get back into our routine of going (or taking our kids) to school, let’s not forget it is our responsibility to be a LIGHT in this dark world! Our life is but a vapor make a difference!
